The Durham Roadrunners made their third official signing

OSHAWA — The Durham Roadrunners made their third official signing of the spring today, announcing the arrival of 2008-born forward Damien Rytter from Denmark.

"Durham is a destination for Canadian and international players alike, and we relish the chance to create cross-border friendships in our locker room," said Roadrunners head coach Joe Cathcart. "There is a strong tradition of both local and import players contributing within the organization, and we can't wait to welcome Damien from Denmark and have him join the Roadrunner family."

Rytter spent last season with the Odense Ishockey Klub's youth system, and is expected to contribute offensively upon joining the Roadrunners.

The Danish prospect joins veteran goaltender Oliver Levy (Helsingborg, Swe.) and forward Pavel Tuniy (Krasnodar, Rus.) on Durham's 2026-27 roster, with several more signings expected over the coming weeks.
